Strong Winds Cause Property Damage in Garissa

Fast moving winds carrying light showers hit Garissa and its environs today causing property damage of unknown economic value.
The wind was strong enough to knock down trees and blow off roofs. Garissa High school had a few of its buildings damaged as did Boys Town Secondary School.

In some places the winds knocked down power lines and left a few residents with no electricity.

No serious fatalities were reported. We will Keep you posted in case this changes.
