Deputy Prime minister Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, Henry Kosgey, Joshua Arap sang, Francis Muthaura and Former police commissioner Hussein Ali have been named by Ocampo as the prime architects of the violence that followed the rigged 2007 elections.
Messrs Ruto and Kenyatta plan to run for the top job in the country in 2012. Its not yet known how their supporters and tribesmen will react to the news of their impending change of address to a cell in the Hague if found guilty.
I personally hope all those named will resign from any political office until their names are cleared. We cannot have alleged genocidaires running political offices.

I don´t know why G.city is so obsessed with what ICC has revealed to the press.When we all know the gov. of kibaki will not co-operate with the apprehending of post election violence suspect.let`s talk sthg that`s highly relevant to G-city,that will make a tremendous impact on our city, like our local authority, who are well known for negligence of their duty.sometimes I wonder with our county councilors. I always find them sitting and relaxing on big hotels on working days as if they are on holliday whole year round.I don´t know, if it`s due to ignorace that,they just relax.then s.body has to tell them that`s only weekends they have to do that.If one months holiday will not help them, then we`ve to become strict with them, after all they are accountable to us.thre4 we expect them to give us service.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the only story I posted about the ICC subject. That said, the issue of lazy and illiterate Councillors has been a sour spot in our city.
